CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT
MINUTES OF BOARD MEETING
August 10, 2020
ITEM 1. CALL TO ORDER
A meeting of the Crime Control and Prevention District (CCPD) Board was called to order
by President Ron Shields on Monday, August 10, 2020, at 5:00 p.m. All members of the
Board participated in the meeting via video conferencing unless noted below.
Board members present included:
Citizen Member Ron Shields, President
Citizen Member Rusty Brown, Vice President
City Council Member Perry Bynum
City Council Member Eddie Price
Citizen Member Mike Pruitt (in person, City Hall)
Mayor Pro Tern Jeremy Tompkins
City Council Member Harry Zimmer
City Secretary Kim Sutter, Secretary (in person, City Hall)
Additional staff and Council members present included:
Mayor Linda Martin
City Manager Loretta Getchell
Deputy City Manager Chris Barker
ITEM 2. APPROVED MINUTES OF MAY 28, 2020 MEETING
Upon motion by Council Member Bynum and second by Citizen Member R. Brown, the
minutes of the May 28, 2020 meeting were approved by a unanimous vote.
ITEM 3. APPROVED RESOLUTION NO. 20-13 CCPD
President Shields presented the item for consideration and advised that the Resolution
amends the early voting dates for the November 3, 2020 election to include October 13
through October 17, 2020.
Upon motion by Citizen Member Pruitt and second by Council Member Tompkins,
Resolution No. 20-13-CCPD was approved. The motion carried by a unanimous vote.

ITEM 4. ADJOURNMENT
Upon motion by Council Member Bynum and second by Citizen Member R. Brown to
adjourn the meeting, President Shields adjourned the meeting at 5:04 p.m.
