MINUTES OF BOARD MEETING
November 12, 2020
ITEM 1. CALL TO ORDER
A meeting of the Crime Control and Prevention District(CCPD) Board was called to order
by President Ron Shields on Thursday, November 12, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. in the
Conference Room in City Hall, 201 North Ector Drive, Euless.
Board members present included:
Citizen Member Ron Shields, President
Citizen Member Rusty Brown, Vice President
Mayor Pro Tern Jeremy Tompkins
City Council Member Harry Zimmer
Citizen Member Mike Pruitt
City Secretary Kim Sutter, Secretary
Board members absent:
City Council Member Perry Bynum
City Council Member Eddie Price
Additional staff present:
City Manager Loretta Getchell
ITEM 2. APPROVED RESOLUTION NO. 20-14-CCPD
President Shields presented the Resolution canvassing the results of the CCPD
continuation election held November 3, 2020:
PROPOSITION A
Whether the Euless Crime Control and Prevention District should be
continued for twenty (20) years and the Crime Control and Prevention
District sales tax should be continued for twenty (20) years.
FOR: 17,135 (X)
AGAINST: 4,722
UNDERVOTES: 2,325

Upon motion by Citizen Member Pruitt and second by Citizen Member R. Brown,
Resolution No. 20-14-CCPD, canvassing the results of the continuation election held
November 3, 2020, passed by a unanimous vote.
ITEM 3. ADJOURNMENT
Upon motion by Council Member Tompkins and second by Citizen Member Pruitt to
adjourn the meeting, President Shields adjourned the meeting at 3:01 p.m.
