A RESOLUTION APPOINTING AN EARLY VOTING BALLOT
BOARD JUDGE FOR A JOINT ELECTION TO BE HELD BY
THE CITY OF EULESS AND THE HURST- EULESS-
BEDFORD INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT ON
MAY 6, 2000.
WHEREAS, the City of Euless and the Hurst- Euless - Bedford Independent School District
have resolved to conduct joint elections pursuant to the provisions of the Texas Election
Code, and
WHEREAS, the laws of the State of Texas provide that an early voting ballot board shall
be created in each election to process early voting results.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EULESS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1
The following named person is hereby appointed an officer for said election:
Early Voting Ballot Board Judge Sue Eubanks
The Early Voting Ballot Board Judge shall appoint two qualified election clerks to serve and
assist in conducting the duties of the Early Voting Ballot Board. All appointments shall be
in accordance with the terms and provisions of the Texas Election Code. Election judges
and clerks shall be compensated for services rendered at an hourly rate of $6 per hour.
ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on the 25th day of April, 2000,
by a vote of 7 ayes, 0 nays, and 0 abstentions.
