A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE
RELOCATION OF THE BOEING CORPORATION
HEADQUARTERS TO THE DALLAS /FORT
WORTH METROPLEX
WHEREAS, the Boeing Corporation recently announced their intention to
relocate their corporate headquarters to either the Dallas /Fort Worth Metroplex,
Chicago, or Denver.
WHEREAS, the Boeing Corporation's location must be culturally diverse to
encourage the world's best talent and be a comfortable community for their employees
with respect to education, transportation, health, culture and quality of life factors,
WHEREAS, the Metroplex exceeds and excels in all the requirements of the
Boeing Corporation site selection criteria. We welcome the Corporation and employees
to the world class environment of people, education, transportation and quality of life
that is such a part of the DFW Metroplex.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EULESS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1
The City of Euless encourages the Boeing Corporation to relocate its corporate
headquarters to the Dallas Ft. Worth Metroplex.
PRESENTED AND PASSED on this the 10th day of April, 2001, by a vote of 6
ayes, 0 nays, and 0 abstentions at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Euless, Texas.
