A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
FINAL TAX ABATEMENT AGREEMENT BY AND
BETWEEN THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, AND R & G
MOBILE HOME SUPPLY, INC., ORIGINALLY ENTERED
INTO IN OCTOBER, 2000, AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF SAME BY THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF
EULESS.
WHEREAS, the City of Euless and R & G Mobile Home Supply, Inc., previously
entered into a tax abatement agreement pursuant to Euless City Council Resolution No.
00 -1055; and
WHEREAS, "year one" of the tax abatement contemplated by said tax
abatement agreement was to have begun January 1, 2000 under the terms of said
agreement; and
WHEREAS, due to circumstances beyond the control of the parties, the tax
abatement contemplated by said agreement could not begin on January 1, 2000, and
taxes were not abated during that tax year on said property; and
WHEREAS, the City and R & G Mobile Home Supply, Inc., desire to modify the
tax abatement agreement to provide that "year one" of the tax abatement provided
therein shall begin January 1, 2001.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EULESS, TEXAS:
That the attached Amendment to Tax Abatement Agreement by and between the
City of Euless and R & G Mobile Home Supply, Inc., modifying said agreement so that
"year one" of the tax abatement granted therein shall begin on January 1, 2001, be and
the same is hereby approved by the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas, and that
the mayor of said city is hereby authorized to execute said tax abatement agreement on
behalf of the City of Euless, Texas.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING and approved at a regular meeting
of the Euless City Council on the 12th day of June, 2001, by a vote of 6 ayes,
0 nays, and o abstentions.

AMENDMENT TO TAX ABATEMENT AGREEMENT
This instrument amends the Tax Abatement Agreement entered into by and between the City
of Euless, Texas, and R & G Mobile Home Supply, Inc., effective on October 4, 2000, as authorized
by Resolution No. 00 -1055, passed by the Euless City Council on February 22, 2000.
WHEREAS, the Tax Abatement Agreement above - referenced provided that the abatement
granted therein should begin with "year one" on January 1, 2000; and
WHEREAS, due to circumstances beyond the control of the parties, the abatement could not
begin on January 1, 2000; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the parties to said Tax Abatement Agreement to modify said
agreement to provide that "year one" of the tax abatement granted shall begin on January 1, 2001.
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows:
I.
That paragraph number 1 of Section C "ABATEMENT ALLOWED" of said Tax
Abatement Agreement shall be modified to provide that the abatement granted in said agreement
shall extend for the ten (10) years listed therein, with "year one" beginning January 1, 2001.
II.
This amendment was authorized by Resolution of the Euless City Council at its regular
meeting on the A day of June, 2001, authorizing the mayor to execute this amendment on behalf
of the CITY.
All other terms and conditions of the Tax Abatement Agreement entered into between the
CITY and R & G Mobile Home Supply, Inc., effective October 4, 2000, shall remain in full force
and effect, save and except as modified by this amendment.
IV.
This amendment shall be effective on the latest date that the parties sign below.
