A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE
SUBMITTAL OF AN APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATON STATEWIDE TRANSPORTATION ENHANCEMENT
PROGRAM FOR A PROJECT NOMINATION PROVIDED BY THE
TRANSPORTATION EQUITY ACT FOR THE 21ST CENTURY.
WHEREAS, the City of Euless, Texas, desires to submit an application for the
development of the City of Euless North Main Street at Blessing Branch enhancement;
and
WHEREAS, the project will serve to enhance the Main Street corridor between Blessing
Branch and Harwood Road through additional landscaping and urban design elements;
and
WHEREAS, the city desires to establish its commitment to pledge the 35% match in
accordance with the Texas Transportation Enhancement Program guidelines; and
WHEREAS, the city commits to the projects development, implementation, construction,
maintenance and financing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, that the
mayor is authorized to execute all documents necessary for the submission of STEP
nomination for North Main Street at Blessing Branch.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas, on this the
14th day of August 2001, by a vote of 7 ayes, 0 nays, and 0 abstentions.
