Monday, August 2, 2021
CALL TO ORDER
A special meeting of the Euless City Council was called to order by Mayor Linda Martin
at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 2, 2021, in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 201 North
Ector Drive.
Those present included Mayor Linda Martin, Mayor Pro Tern Tim Stinneford, Council
Members Jeremy Tompkins, Eddie Price, Perry Bynum, Harry Zimmer, and Tika Paudel.

Finance Director Janina Jewell

INVOCATION
Council Member Eddie Price gave the invocation.
PLEDGES OF ALLEGIANCE
Council Member Tika Paudel led the pledges of allegiance to the flags of the United States
and Texas.
ITEM NO. 1. SET PUBLIC HEARING ON FY 2021-2022 PROPOSED CITY OF
EULESS BUDGET FOR AUGUST 10, 2021
Finance Director Janina Jewell presented the item to the City Council.
Mayor Pro Tern Stinneford motioned to set a public hearing for August 10, 2021, 7 p.m.
in the Euless City Council Chambers regarding the proposed City of Euless Budget for
Fiscal Year 2021-2022.

PLACE A PROPOSAL TO ADOPT CITY OF EULESS AD
VALOREM TAX RATE ON THE AUGUST 16, 2021 AGENDA
Finance Director Jewell presented the item to the City Council.
Mayor Pro Tem Stinneford motioned to place a proposal to adopt the City of Euless
proposed Ad Valorem tax rate of 47.50 per $100 valuation on the August 16, 2021 City
Council agenda.
Council Member Price seconded the motion.
Ayes: Mayor Martin, Mayor Pro Tem Stinneford, Council Members Tompkins,
Price, Bynum, Zimmer, and Paudel
Nays: None
Mayor Martin declared the motion carried.
ITEM NO. 3. SET PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED CITY OF EULESS AD
VALOREM TAX RATE FOR AUGUST 16, 2021
Finance Director Jewell presented the item to the City Council.
Council Member Bynum motioned to schedule a public hearing on the proposed City of
Euless Ad Valorem Tax Rate for August 16, 2021.
Council Member Tompkins seconded the motion.
Ayes: Mayor Martin, Mayor Pro Tem Stinneford, Council Members Tompkins,
Price, Bynum, Zimmer, and Paudel
Nays: None
Mayor Martin declared the motion carried.

Mayor Martin adjourned the meeting at 7:05 p.m.
