WHEREAS, it has been brought to the City Council's attention that some retail
stores in the City have been placing magazines in locations easily viewed by small
children.
WHEREAS, some of these magazines have pictures and /or language that may
be considered by some people to be inappropriate for children.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EULESS, TEXAS;
SECTION 1
THAT we encourage retail store managers to consider placing such magazines
in a place Tess visible to children and /or provide some type of cover.
ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on the 11th day of
September, 2001, by a vote of 6 ayes, 0 nays, and 0 abstentions.
