HomeMy WebLinkAbout2014-06-09 special called MINUTES OF A SPECIAL CALLED MEETING OF THE EULESS CITY COUNCIL JUNE 9, 2014 ITEM NO. 1 CALL TO ORDER A Special Called meeting of the Euless City Council was called to order by Mayor Linda Martin 6:04 p.m. on Monday, June 9, 2014, in the Precouncil Room in City Hall, 201 N. Ector Drive, Euless, Texas. Those present included Mayor Linda Martin, Mayor Pro Tem Linda Eilenfeldt, Council Members Tim Stinneford, Jeremy Tompkins, Eddie Price, Glenn Porterfield, and Perry Bynum. Others present included: City Manager Gary McKamie Deputy City Manager Loretta Getchell Assistant City Manager Chris Barker City Secretary Kim Sutter Police Chief Mike Brown Director of Planning and Economic Development Mike Collins Director of Public Works Hal Cranor Director of Administrative Services Dale Harwell Director of Parks and Community Services Ray McDonald Fire Chief Wes Rhodes Finance Director Janina Jewell Fire Department Division Chief/ Operations Chanc Bennett Fire Marshal Paul Smith Assistant Police Chief Bob Freeman Library Administrator Sherry McKnight Fleet and Facility Administrator Kyle McAdams Information Services Administrator Scott Joyce Assistant Director of Finance Jackie Theriot Municipal Courts Manager Teresa Alexander Fleet and Facilities Supervisor Blake Cloud Police Captain Gary Landers Building Official Don Sheffield ITEM NO. 2 ACCEPTED THE FISCAL YEAR 2013-2014 CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT BUDGET Mayor Martin advised that the Crime Control and Prevention District Board Board met earlier for the purpose of holding a public hearing and approving their Fiscal Year 2014-2015 budget. Special Called Council Minutes Page 2 of 2 June 9, 2014 Councilman Stinneford motioned to accept the Fiscal Year 2014-2015 Crime Control and Prevention District Budget. Council Member Tompkins seconded the motion. Ayes: Mayor Martin, Mayor Pro Tem Eilenfeldt, Council Members Stinneford, Tompkins, Price, Porterfield, and Bynum Nays: None Mayor Martin declared the motion carried.
