A RESOLUTION DECLARING A PUBLIC NECESSITY FOR THE
ACQUISITION OF PARCELS OF REAL ESTATE REQUIRED FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF PAVING IMPROVEMENTS TO WEST PIPELINE
ROAD
WHEREAS, the City of Euless has designed and desires to construct paving
improvements to West Pipeline Road from State Highway 10 to Raider Drive; and
WHEREAS, the proposed paving improvements will expand the current two lane
section into a four lane roadway with some continuous left turn lanes and medians
which will require additional right -of -way; and
WHEREAS, the City of Euless must provide the necessary right -of -way to
construct the proposed paving improvement; and
WHEREAS, the City of Euless does not have sufficient right -of -way existing to
allow the proposed construction; and
WHEREAS, the City of Euless has identified certain parcels of real estate as
needed for the construction; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Euless finds that a public necessity
exists for the acquisition of the aforesaid parcels of real estate, and that said parcels
when taken, shall be put to a public use for the benefit of the community at large,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EULESS, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1: There is a public necessity for the acquisition by the City of Euless
of each of the parcels described in Attachment 1.
Section 2: The real property interest designated for each parcel in Attachment
1 is necessary and proper for the construction of the paving improvements to West
Pipeline Road, and such improvements are hereby declared to be a public use for a
public purpose.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas, and
effective, on this 14th day of December, 2004.

WEST PIPELINE ROAD
RIGHT -OF -WAY PARCELS
(a) A rectangular strip of land 9 ft. wide and 96.4 ft. long off the north side of
Tract I, Fairmont Addition to the City of Euless, Texas, and containing 0.016
acres of land more or less.
(b) It is a rectangular strip of land 7 ft. wide and 94.19 ft. long off the west
side of Tract I, Fairmont Addition to the City of Euless, Texas, and containing
0.013 acres of land more or less.
A rectangular strip of land 9 ft wide and 238.72 ft. long off the north side of
Tract 11, Fairmont Addition to the City of Euless, Texas, and containing 0.047
acres of land more or less.
A rectangular strip of land 20 ft. wide and 70 ft. long off the north side of Lot
1C, Block 1, Bell -Hi Addition to the City of Euless, Texas, and containing
0.032 acres of land more or less.
A rectangular strip of land 20.0 ft. wide on the west side, 13 ft. wide on the
east side and 90 ft. long off the north side of Lot 2C, Block 1, Bell -Hi
Addition to the City of Euless, Texas, and containing 0.034 acres of land
more or less.
A rectangular strip of land 15 ft. wide and 90 ft long off the north side of Lot
3C, Block I, Bell -Hi Addition, to the City of Euless, Texas, and containing
0.031 acres of land more or less.
All of Lot 1 -D, Block 2, Bell -Hi Addition to the City of Euless, Texas.
A triangular shaped tract of land whose opposite sides are 25 ft. long out of
the northeast corner of Lot 16, Block 7 of the West Point II Addition to the
City of Euless, Texas, and containing 0.022 acres of land more or less.
A triangular shaped tract of land whose opposite sides are 25 ft. long out of
the northwest corner of Lot 1, Block L of the West Point II Addition to the
City of Euless, Texas, and containing 0.022 acres of land more or less.
A rectangular shaped strip of land 20 ft. wide and 214 ft. long off the north
side of a 0.82 acre tract of land described in the deed recorded in Volume
7883, Page 1580 of the Tarrant County Deed Records and designated as Tract
2A2 in the Tarrant County Appraisal District Records in the Kitty House

10. A rectangular strip of land 5 ft. wide and 200.86 ft. long off the north side of

Tarrant County Deed Records and containing 0.019 acres of land more or
less.
11. A rectangular strip of land 10 ft. wide and 156 ft. long off the north side of
that tract of land described in the deed recorded in Volume 14359, Page 508
of the Tarrant County Deed Records and containing 0.019 acres of land more
or less.
12. A rectangular strip of land 14 ft. wide and 200 ft. long off the north side of a
tract of land described in the deed recorded in Volume 12585, Page 1433 of
the Tarrant County Deed Records and containing 0.054 acres of land more or
less.
13. A triangular strip of land 125 ft. along State Highway 10, 180 ft. along the
south line of West Pipeline Road and being the most eastern portion of that
tract of land described as Tract 24 in the deed recorded in Volume 12853,
Page 51 of the Tarrant County Deed Records and containing 0.095 acres of
land more or less.
14. A rectangular strip of land 20 ft. wide and 355 ft. long off the south side of a
2.0654 acre tract of land in the J. Matson Survey A -1080, Tarrant County,
Texas, said 2.0654 acre tract designated as Tract 3 -D -1 in the Tarrant County
Appraisal District Records and described in the deed recorded in Volume
6929, Page 1138 of the Tarrant County Deed Records and containing 0.163
acres of land more or less.
15. A rectangular strip of land 40 ft. wide and 719 ft. long off the south side of a
31.534 acre tract of land in the J. Matson Survey A -1080, Tarrant County,
Texas, said 31.534 acre tract designated as Tract 1 in the Tarrant County
Appraisal District Records and being the same tract of land described in
Volume 12877, Page 192 of the Tarrant County Deed Records and containing
0.660 acres of land more or less.
