Dear Mr. Cowell :
A group of parents approached the Board of Education
about building sidewalks for students in certain areas. School
laws prohibit school districts from building sidewalks except on
school property. The Board of Education thought it advisable
to express a desire for city officials to give some consideration
for sidewalks at least along some busy crowded through streets
for the safety of school children going to and from school .
