A RESOLUTION DECLARING PROPERTY KNOWN AS LOT 2R,
BLOCK 13, OAK RIDGE ESTATES, LOCATED IN BEDFORD, TEXAS,
AS SURPLUS, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SEEK
AND ACCEPT SEALED BIDS FOR THE SALE OF SAID PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, when the City of Euless purchased the water system from Municipal
Service Company in the 1960s, several pieces of the water system were located in the
City of Bedford, Texas; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the Euless water well site located at
Harwood Road and Crystal Springs Drive in the City of Bedford, Texas, is no longer of
use and has been capped; and
WHEREAS, the Euless City Council desires to dispose of the property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EULESS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1
THAT the subject property known as Lot 2R, Block 13, Oak Ridge Estates,
approximately 31,494 square feet, located at the corner of Harwood Road and Crystal
Springs Drive, Bedford, Texas, be declared surplus property.
SECTION 2
THAT the City Manager or his designee be authorized to seek and accept sealed
bids for the sale of the property and its attached appurtenances.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED on this 25th day of October, 2005, by a vote of 6
ayes, 0 nays, and 0 abstentions.
