HomeMy WebLinkAbout05-1215 DENIEDt i (ED 3-4-0 RESOLUTION NO. 05 -1215 A RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE SALE OF LOT 2R, BLOCK 13, OAK RIDGE ESTATES, LOCATED IN BEDFORD, TEXAS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONVEYANCE OF SUCH PROPERTY WHEREAS, the City of Euless received a sealed bid for a city -owned parcel of land used as a water well site at Harwood Road and Crystal Springs Drive and known as Lot 2R, Block 13, Oak Ridge Estates, located in Bedford, Texas, Tarrant County, Texas; and, WHEREAS, it has been determined that the Euless water well site is no longer of use and has been capped and plugged, and the Euless City Council desires to dispose of the property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS: SECTION I THAT the City Council ratifies the final successful bid of TMC Management and/or Assigns, 3231 Harwood Road, Bedford, Texas 76021, in the amount of $125,000 received for the sale of Lot 2R, Block 13, Oak Ridge Estates, located in Bedford, Texas, Tarrant County, Texas. SECTION II THAT upon the city's receipt from the successful bidder of certifiable funds evidenced by money order, cashier's or certified check in the amount of the successful bid, the Mayor is authorized and directed to execute in favor of such successful bidder a Special Warranty Deed conveying such property. PRESENTED AND PASSED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas, on the 13th day of December, 2005, by a vote of ayes nays, and _ abstentions.
