A Danish cloud backup and data protection business is establishing its U.S.
headquarters in Euless with plans to hire as many as 25 workers this year.
Keepit's global growth is being fueled by a $3o million investment from One

Peak, a London firm that backs growing technology companies in Europe. It's the
largest software -as -a -service investment in a bootstrapped company in the
Nordics, according to Crunchbase.
The Copenhagen -based company's software is built on blockchain technology and
designed to protect and manage cloud -based data in commonly used business
applications, such as Microsoft 365, Google and Salesforce.
"With the rise in and prevalence of ransomware, businesses are seeing that it's
important now, more than ever, to ensure that their data is properly backed up,"
said Chris Braden, Keepit vice president of sales and channels for the Americas.
Keepit, founded in 2007 by data hosting entrepreneurs Frederik Schouboe and
Morten Felsvang, has about 25 sales and marketing employees across the U.S. It
has three employees in the Euless office and plans to expand its staff to to by the
end of March.
Braden said the company selected North Texas because its central location makes
it easy to hold national meetings.
Keepit works with 2,000 customers in 46 countries with most of its clients in the
retail, health care, finance, legal and municipal sectors. Besides Copenhagen, it
also has an office in Ukraine and satellite offices globally.

EULESS, Texas — Eastbound lanes of State Highway 183 in Euless are
blocked due to an overturned cement truck, police said Tuesday morning. It
happened near Industrial Boulevard.

Express lane traffic is being diverted at northbound Highway 121 and main
lanes are being diverted at North Main Street.
No other information on the crash was available.
Drivers should avoid the area. Check wfaa.com/traffic seek alternate routes.
