A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS,
TEXAS, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 14-1439, REQUESTING
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FROM THE TEXAS WATER
DEVELOPMENT BOARD; AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF AN
APPLICATION FOR ASSISTANCE; AND MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS
IN CONNECTION THEREWITH.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EULESS, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1.
Resolution 14-1439, approved at the August 12, 2014, City Council meeting,
authorized an application to be filed with the Texas Water Development Board seeking
financial assistance in an amount not to exceed $2,750,000 to provide for the costs of
constructing Phase 2 of the Bear Creek Reclaimed Water System Expansion.
Section 2.
The Texas Water Development Board received and reviewed the authorized
application and provided a Funding Determination Letter increasing the available
amount of financial assistance by $5,300 for a total of $2,755,300.
Section 3.
The amended amount of financial assistance approved and authorized to be
sought from the Texas Water Development Board is not to exceed $2,755,300 to
provide for the costs of constructing Phase 2 of the Bear Creek Reclaimed Water
System Expansion.
Section 4.
The City Manager be and is hereby designated the authorized representative of
the City of Euless for purposes of furnishing such information and executing such
documents as may be required in connection with the preparation and filing of such
application for financial assistance and the rules of the Texas Water Development
Board.
Section 5.
The following firms and individuals are hereby authorized and directed to aid and
assist in the preparation and submission of such application and appear on behalf of
and represent the City of Euless before any hearing held by the Texas Water
Development Board on such application, to wit:

APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on
the 28th day of October 2014 by a vote of 6 ayes, 0 nays, and Q abstentions.
