Euless City Council
February 9, 1957
The City Council of Euless met in regular
session on February 9, 1957, at 7:30 p.m., with Mayor Payton presiding.
A l l members of the Council were present.
Meeting with the Council were the Planning
Commission, Mr. C l i f f o r d Green and Rev. T. R. Nelson.
Mr. Green registered a complaint on the
charges being made for water taps in the Mosier Valley area within the city
limits of Euless. The Mayor assured Mr. Green he would investigate and
let him know at an early date.
On a motion by Councilman Fuller, seconded
by Councilman Anderson, the petition of C. K. Rickel and wife to annex
certain lands to the City of Euless was unanimously rejected.
A motion by Councilman Anderson, seconded
by Councilman Millican, to the effect that the Council approve and adopt
Ordinance No. 62, an amendment to Ordinance No. 28, Section 1113, was
unanimously approved, and the same ordinance is on f i l e in Office of City
Secretary.
Councilman Fuller offered a motion, seconded
by Councilman Luther Anders, that the Council accept the recommendation of
the Planning Commission and approve the Fuller Heights plat and dedication.
The affirmative vote was unanimous.
On final motion by Councilman Luther
Anders, seconded by Councilman Fuller, the City Secretary was authorized
and instructed to purchase six metal signs, Euless City Limits; two signs,
No Parking - 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.; four signs, No Parking - Fire Lane;
twelve metal posts and bolts necessary for the erection of signs.. The
Council was unanimous in the adoption.
