CALL TO ORDER
A Special Called meeting of the Euless City Council was called to order by Mayor Pro
Tern Linda Eilenfeldt at 3:30 p. m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2014, in the Mayors
Conference Room of City Hall, 201 N. Ector Drive, Euless, Texas. Those present
included Mayor Pro Tern Linda Eilenfeldt, and Councilmembers Eddie Price and
Perry Bynum.
Pursuant to Section 67.004 of the Texas Election Code, two members of the City
Council constitute a quorum for purposes of canvassing an election.
Staff Member Present:
City Manager Gary McKamie
Deputy City Manager Loretta Getchell
City Secretary Kim Sutter
Assistant to the City Secretary Holly Houston
ITEM NO. 1 CANVASSED THE RETURNS AND DECLARED THE
RESULTS OF THE DECEMBER 9, 2014, CITY COUNCIL
SPECIAL ELECTION
City Secretary Kim Sutter presented the results of the December 9, 2014, City
Council Special Election:
TOTAL PERCENTAGE
Place 5 Darl Easton 478 37.23%
Harry Zimmer 646 50.31%
David Brown 160 12.46%
TOTAL BALLOTS CAST: 1,287 (4.72 % voter turnout)
Council Member Bynum motioned to canvass the returns and declare the results of
the December 9, 2014, City Council Special Election as presented.
Council Member Price seconded the motion.
Ayes: Mayor Pro Tern Eilenfeldt, Council Members Bynum and Price
Nays: None

Mayor Pro Tern Eilenfeldt declared the motion carried.
ITEM NO. 3 ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:33 p.m.
