OF
BEDFORD, EULESS AND HURST FOR COMBINING EFFORTS FOR
THE PROVISION OF A TEEN COURT PROGRAM IN
MUNICIPAL COURT
This Agreement is entered into by and between the Cities of Bedford, Euless and
Hurst, all such entities being located in Tarrant County, Texas, and hereinafter referred to
collectively as "Parties" or "Entities," and individually as "Party" or "Entity." The
Parties execute this Agreement pursuant to the Texas Government Code Chapter 791, the
Interlocal Cooperation Act.
WHEREAS, in 2013, the Cities of Bedford, Euless and Hurst entered into an
interlocal agreement for combining efforts for the provision of a teen court program in
their municipal courts, such program being known as HEB Teen Court; and
WHEREAS, the HEB Teen Court interlocal agreement provides for the utilization
of a Teen Court Advisory Board to perform functions related to the HEB Teen Court; and
WHEREAS, the Parties desire to amend the HEB Teen Court interlocal
agreement to remove the Teen Court Advisory Board.
NOW THEREFORE,
For the purposes set forth above, the Parties do hereby agree as follows:
1. The HEB Teen Court interlocal agreement is amended by deleting Paragraph 2 in
its entirety. All other terms and conditions in the HEB Teen Court interlocal
agreement shall remain in full force and effect. The Teen Court Advisory Board
contemplated by Paragraph 2 of the HEB Teen Court interlocal agreement is
hereby dissolved as of the Effective Date hereof.
2. This Agreement may be signed in multiple counterparts and shall be binding on
each Entity when duly authorized by the governing body of each Entity and
signed by such Entity's duly authorized representative.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, this Agreement shall be effective from the last date
approved by a participating Entity as shown below ("Effective Date").
