The transaction includes the company's headquarters and a manufacturing facility in Cleburne. Superior Concrete Products was founded in 1986 and engineers, manufactures and installs precast concrete screening, sound walls, rail fences and barrier systems across North America. "Superior Concrete Products has established its reputation over 30 years as a best -in -class provider in its space," Dax,.S,. Mitchell, principal of MAG Capital Partners, said in the release. "The leadership and engineers have a refined and disciplined approach to produce the highest quality products, from the bespoke design and concrete production process to hands-on installation, and it shows in everything Superior touches." "We found a wonderful synergy with the Superior Concrete Products team and will build on Superior's long track record of success," ndirew Gil, principal of MAG Capital Partners, said in the release. "The precast industry as a whole has grown in a fragmented way. With the incredible team already in place, we see an immediate path to grow the Superior Concrete Products platform both organically and through strategic add -on acquisitions." Infinity on the Landing, Euless Los Angeles' ShainRealty Capital bought the Landing, picking up 267 multifamily units at 3720 Post Oak Boulevard near the Dallas -Fort Worth airport in the suburb of Euless. The Class B+ property was built in 1983. Average apartment size is 770 square feet, and average rents are 30 percent below market. ShainRealty will put $3 million into renovations and upgrades and rebrand the property Infinity on the Landing. Bard Hoover and Wes Racht of California's Marcus & Millichap brokered the transaction. Miami -based Rialto Capital provided the bridge loan. The seller was John Barker of Arlington's 180 Multifamily Properties, headquartered in Arlington, Texas. ShainRealty entered the Dallas market with its purchase of a 373-unit rental complex, Infinity on the Mark, for $46.4 million. The company made a second Dallas multifamily purchase paying $51 million for a 249-unit complex nearby, now called Infinity on the Point. The privately owned investment firm specializes in Class B and workforce housing projects. The company said it plans continued growth in the Sun Belt. Axio, San Antonio One Real Eslcrlc Inv stm nt's Jeronimo Hirschfeld and 8722 Cinnamon Creek k Drive Miami's One Real Estate Investment picked up a 360-unit apartment community in an off -market deal in San Antonio. Called Axio, the Class B multifamily property at 8722 Cinnamon Creek Drive was built in 1985. It's less than a mile from the South Texas Medical Center and within 10 miles of large area employers including the National Security Agency and the Southwest Research Institute. OREI put $6 million into apartment renovations and will enhance common amenities. Axio is OREI's second multifamily acquisition in the city. The company's Texas portfolio includes eight multifamily communities in Houston, Dallas, College Station, San Antonio and Austin, bringing total units under management to 2,200 in Texas and 6,000 nationally. It has acquired and sold over 11,000 value -add multifamily units nationwide since 2001. Rancho Mirage, Irving I'r uAmvr iccr Mullifcr ily's Arazr anucl Melia and 1200 Hidden Ridge California -based TruAmerica Multifamily, bought Rancho Mirage at 1200 Hidden Ridge in the Dallas/Fort Worth submarket of Irving. The 310-unit complex has a mix of one- and two- bedroom apartments. Community amenities include a 24-hour fitness center, a lap pool, and a racquetball court. TruAmerica plans a multimillion dollar capital improvement program to renovate the property's interiors and enhance its curb appeal. In the past 18 months, TruAmerica Multifamily has acquired 3,000 units in Texas. Its portfolio includes nine properties in Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio. The firm established a Dallas regional headquarters in December 2020. Houston Apartments C 'Thal Square'.s Whitson Hudson and 3623 West Alaba a Streel Virginia's Capital Square bought a Class A, 304-unit multifamily community in Houston. The community was developed by Wood Partners and acquired on behalf of CS 1031 Houston Apartments, a Delaware statutory trust offering for Section 1031 exchange, and cash investors, according to a press release. The complex at 3623 West Alabama Street has studios and one-, two- and three -bedroom units and community amenities including a swimming pool, a sky lounge and a pinball machine. The Flats at West Alabama, as it's currently called, is in River Oaks, one of Houston's wealthiest neighborhoods. The average annual household income within a three-mile radius of the property is $163,000, and the property's submarket has experienced year -over -year rent growth of approximately 9.5 percent since the beginning of 2021, according to a press release that references CoStar for the stats. CS 1031 Houston Apartments, DST looks to raise $56.5 million in equity from accredited investors. Involved parties did not disclose sales amounts for any of the four deals. Oklahoma Commitment From 2023 Euless Trinity Defensive End, Ricky Lolohea By Zachary Lancaster May 5, 2022 STILLWATER — Oklahoma State just added its third defensive lineman of the 2023 class with the commitment of Ricky Lolohea, a defensive tackle out of Euless (TX) Trinity. Lolohea is a 6-4, 250-pound defensive tackle in the 2023 class who currently holds six offers, all coming since January 2022 and starting with Oklahoma State, who was followed by Louisiana -Monroe, North Texas, San Diego State, SMU and Texas Tech. Lolohea lined up outside for Trinity this past season in nine games as a junior and recorded 20 total tackles, 13 of which were solo stops, 5.0 tackles for loss and one sack. While he didn't play a full compliment of games this past season for Trinity, Lolohea was one of the top defensive playmakers for the Trojans in 2021. He progressed as the season went along and is poised for a potential breakout senior season. Cowboy football player development specialist Beni Tonga has led the way for the Pokes over the years in landing players of Polynesian descent, including the recruitment of Lolohea. The Polynesian -Oklahoma State pipeline has been strong over the years, including this previous season, which included First Team All -Big 12 running back Jaylen Warren, defensive linemen Samuela Tuihalamaka, Sione Asi and Nathan Latu and linebacker Mason Cobb. Lolohea marks the seventh overall commitment for the Pokes in the 2023 class, the fourth defensive commitment and the third on the defensive line, joining DE Jaedon Foreman, DE Billy Walton and S Kam Franklin. On the other side of the ball, the Cowboys have received commitments from QB Zane Flores and offensive linemen Jack Endean and JaKobe Sanders. The department is hiring and the introductory test is being held Tuesday at 9 a.m. at 1102 W. Euless Boulevard. According to a EPD Twitter post, the doors will close promptly at 9 a.m. and the written test will be followed by a physical assessment. "It's basically a 9th-grade aptitude test and when they sign up to test for us we offer them a study guide to prepare for that test. Then, once they successfully complete that they go straight into a physical test which is basically a 2,000 meter row on the concept rower," said the department's Lieutenant Scott Ho. Successful recruits will be met with a starting salary of $66,222 and the department is on a five-year step plan. "Every year, you go up to a different step and then you'll top out.
