Chairman Barney Snitz called the meeting to order at 7:00p.m.
DISPOSITION OF THE MINUTES: Chairman Barney Snitz asked for a motion to be made to accept the
minutes of the January 8, 2015 meeting. Marcia Brown made the motion to accept the minutes and Chris
McAllister seconded the motion.
WELCOME VISITORS: Chairman Barney Snitz welcomed the visitors to the meeting.
REPORT FROM THE LIBRARY ADMINISTRATOR:
Sherry Knight commented on the monthly statistical report.
MEET THE STAFF: Sherry Knight introduced Carolyn Hoaldridge, Circulation Supervisor. Carolyn
demonstrated the process of library acquisitions.
Sherry Knight shared with the board that the library will be receiving the Achievement of Excellence Award at
the City Council meeting on February 10`h. The board was invited to attend the meeting.
Sherry commented on the Board and Commission Dinner scheduled for February 23, 2015 at the Texas Star.
Sherry commented on AARP Tax service and the tax forms.
Upcoming library events: Audio Book Challenge, Book Sculpture class, and Texas Bagpiper on Monday,
March 2, 2015 at 7:00 pm in the Meeting Room.
DISCUSSIONS:
1. Barney Snitz commented volunteer opportunities, Mike McGehee's hard work and dedication to the
library board, and that he enjoys having library staff visit with the board each month.
2. Carol Kveck commented on Carolyn Hoaldridge's presentation.
3. Chris McAllister commented on the performance of the Tongan dancers.
4. Jim Hamilton commented on Carolyn Hoaldridge's presentation and the Library Visit Form.
5. Marcia Brown commented on Carolyn Hoaldridge's presentation.

CITIZEN AND VISITOR COMMENTS:
Mary Lib Saleh commented on the Reading Room at the old Euless Library, the Open House at the museum,
the unveiling of the mural, and the upcoming city elections.
LuAnn Portugal commented on the library staff and the Valentine activities at the Family Life Center.
ADJOURNMENT:
The Chairman asked for a motion to adjourn. The motion was made by Marcia Brown and seconded by Loretta
Doty. The meeting was adjourned at 8:06 p.m.
