TO EXECUTE AN EQUIPMENT LEASE - PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH MOTOROLA, INC., FOR THE PURCHASE OF SAID EQUIPMENT. WHEREAS, the City Council' of the City of Euless finds that a true and very real need exist for the acquisrtion of the Equipment and /or other personal property described in the Lease - Purchase Schedule between the City of Euless (Lessee) and Motorola, Inc. (Lessor); and WHEREAS, the City Council' of the City of Euless has determined that the Lease - Purchase Agreement, substantially in the form presented, is in the best interest of the City of Euless for the acquisition of such Equipment andother personal' property and WHEREAS, it is mutually advantageq all parties enter into:.such agreement. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED EY THE CITY ©UNCtL OF THE ITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1 AUTHORIZATI ©N: the City Council of the City of Euless hereby approves the entering into the Lease - Purchase Agreement by the Lessee and hereby designates and authorizes the City Manager to execute and deliver the Lease Purchase Agreement on City's behalf with such changes thereto as such person deems appropriate, and any related documents, including ' 'any escrow agreement, necessary to consummation_ of the transactions', contemplated by the Lease- Purchase Agreement, SECTION he EFFECTIVE DATE: This resolution shall beco and after its passage as provided by the Euless City C State of Texas. e 'immediately: er and the laws of APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular Council on the 8th day of June 2010 by a vote of abstentions.
