D. 1956, pursuant to the provisions of Title 28, Chapter 2, of the 1925 Revised Civil Statutes of the State of Texas, the ordinances of the City of Euless, Texas, and::. Resolution No, 8 heretofore adopted on the day of February A. D. 1956, after due notice as by law provided, the general election to elect three Councilmen for a term of two years was held the limits of said City; and WHEREAS, on this the r�' day of April, A. a regular meeting of the City Council of said City, of §aid Ailection were canvassed by the Mayor in the of the City Council, and the said canvass showeda.t result was as follows: D. 1956, at the results presenoe such FOR COUNCILMAN - Two Year Term G. L. Anders Ernest Millioan Jr. J. S. Anderson E. A. Tillery A. B. Gill W. C. Goodrum 65 Votes 64 " 59 " 56 " 147 f 39 " NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS: THAT, the canvass of the result of said election be and is hereby approved and that G. L. Anders, Ernest Millican Jr., and J. S. Anderson having received the highest number of votes for the Office of Councilman for a two year term are hereby declared elected to such office and are to serve as such officers for the term of two years from the date hereof or until their successors are duly elected and qualified. THAT such officers are hereby instructed to take the oath of office as by law provided and to file such oaths with the City Secretary. ADOPTED this y of April, A. D. 1956.
