WHEREAS on the 5th day of April, 1960, pursuant to the provisions
of Election Code of the State of Texas, the ordinances of the City of
Euless, Texas, and Resolution No. 23, heretofore adopted on the 19th day
of March, 1960, after due notice as by law provided, the General Election
to elect three (3) councilmen for the City of Euless, Texas, for a period
of two (2) years, or until their successors have been duly qualified, was
held within the limits of the said City; and
WHEREAS on the 12th day of April, 1960, at a Regular Meetinf of the
City Council of said City, the results of said election were canvassed
by the Mayor in the presenceof the City Council, and the said canvass showed
that such results were as follows:

Roy F. Braswell 165 "
Bobby R. Fuller 184 "

H. M. Huffman 179 "
Clark McKelvey 150 "

Herschel B. Morgan 138 "
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that.. the canvass of the results of said
election be and is hereby approved and that Bobby R. Fuller, H. M. Huffman,
and Roy F. Braswell, having received the highest number of-votes for the office
of Councilman, are hereb o ecl e1dj e fcted to said offices of Councilmen for
a term of two (2) years; it until their successors are duly elected and qualified.
THAT such officers are hereby instructed to take oath of office as by law
provided, and to file such oaths with the City Secretary.
ADDPTED this 12th day of April, 1960.
