THE STATE OF TEXAS
COUNTY OF TARRANT
I, W.E. Flippo, Secretary of the City of Euless of Tarrant County,
Texas, an incorporated city, do hereby certify that I am Keeper of the
records and minutes of the proceedings of the City Council of said City,
and that on April 6, 1961 there was held a meeting of the City Council
which was duly called and held in accordance with the laws of the State
of Texas, and at which meeting a quorum of the Council was present, and
at said meeting the following action was duly legally taken:
RESOLVED, Resolution No 38, that any one of the following rep-
resentatives of the City of Euless, Texas,
J.S. Anderson, Mayor
may borrow $1,172.13, being the cost of a 1961 Ford Fairlane Pordor with -
specified Police Department equipment, complete, in the name of the City
of Euless from the Hurst State Bank, and give the City's Note therefor,
in such amount and from such time and rate of interest as may be desig-
nated on said note, or bank's custom, and may pledge for the payment of
such note any funds to be received, or if something tangible be purchased
by appropriate resolution, to give a mortgage upon the same or in any
event the full faith and credit of the said City of Euless, Texas.
THIS RESOLUTION and the authority and instructions given thereby shall
pass and be initiated to any successor or to the assigns of the Hurst
State Bank, Hurst, Texas.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand as Secretary of the
said City of Euless, this 6th day of April, 1961.
