CALL TO ORDER
A special called meeting of the Euless City Council was called to order by Mayor Linda
Martin at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 1, 2022, in the Council Chambers of City Hall,
201 North Ector Drive.
Those present included Mayor Linda Martin, Mayor Pro Tem Eddie Price, Council
Members Tim Stinneford, Jeremy Tompkins, Eddie Price, Harry Zimmer, and Tika
Paudel. Council Member Perry Bynum was absent from the meeting.

INVOCATION
Council Member Harry Zimmer gave the invocation.
PLEDGES OF ALLEGIANCE
Council Member Tim Stinneford led the pledges of allegiance to the flags of the United
States and Texas.
ITEM NO. 1. SET PUBLIC HEARING ON FY 2022-2023 PROPOSED CITY OF
EULESS BUDGET FOR AUGUST 9, 2022
Mayor Martin introduced the item.
Council Member Stinneford motioned to set a public hearing for August 9, 2022, 7 p.m.
in the Euless City Council Chambers regarding the proposed City of Euless Budget for
Fiscal Year 2022-2023.
Council Member Zimmer bseconded the motion.
Ayes: Mayor Martin, Mayor Pro Tem Price, Council Members Stinneford,
Tompkins, Zimmer, and Paudel
Nays: None

Mayor Martin declared the motion carried.
ITEM NO. 2. PLACE A PROPOSAL TO ADOPT CITY OF EULESS AD
VALOREM TAX RATE ON THE AUGUST 22, 2022 AGENDA
Mayor Martin introduced the item.
Mayor Pro Tern Price motioned to place a proposal to adopt the City of Euless proposed
Ad Valorem tax rate of 460 per $100 valuation on the August 22, 2022 City Council
agenda.
Council Member Tompkins seconded the motion.
Ayes: Mayor Martin, Mayor Pro Tern Price, Council Members Stinneford,
Tompkins, Zimmer, and Paudel
Nays: None
Mayor Martin declared the motion carried.
ITEM NO. 3. SET PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED CITY OF EULESS AD
VALOREM TAX RATE FOR AUGUST 22, 2022
Mayor Martin introduced the item.
Council Member Paudel motioned to schedule a public hearing on the proposed City of
Euless Ad Valorem Tax Rate for August 22, 2022.
Council Member Tompkins seconded the motion.
Ayes: Mayor Martin, Mayor Pro Tern Price, Council Members Stinneford,
Tompkins, Zimmer, and Paudel
Nays: None
Mayor Martin declared the motion carried.
ITEM NO. 4. ADJOURN
Mayor Martin adjourned the meeting at 7:03 p.m.
