OF THE EULESS CITY COUNCIL
June 16, 2022
A budget work session of the Euless City Council was called to order at 6:15 p.m. on
Thursday, June 16, 2022, in the Precouncil Conference Room at Euless City Hall, 201
North Ector Drive, Euless, Texas.

City Manager Loretta Getchell welcomed everyone in attendance. She presented a
budget update to the Council and outlined the funding priorities including changes to the
pay plan. She further advised that the Fire Department station personnel will transition
to 48/96 hour shifts on a trial basis and stated that many neighboring fire departments
have made the transition.
Council Member Bynum inquired about consideration of adding additional school
resources to the school campuses.

The booklet of Capital and Supplemental Requests for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 was
distributed.
Each of the departmental staff members presented, discussed and responded to
questions related to their proposed capital and supplemental requests.
City Manager Loretta Getchell advised the City Council that the City Manager's
recommendations and prioritization of the capital and supplemental requests will be
presented at the worksession to be held Saturday, July 30, 2022.
Council Members were reminded of the budget worksession to be held on Monday, June
27, 2022.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:29 p.m.
