WHEREAS, on the 3rd day of April, 1962, pursuant to the
provisions of the Election Code of the State of Texas, the
Ordinance of the City of Euless, Texas, and Resolution No. 50 ,
heretofore adopted on the 13th day of February, 1962, after due
notice as by law provided, the General Election to elect three
(3) Councilmen for the City of Euless, Texas, for a period of
two (2) years, or until their successors have been duly qualified,
was held within the limits of the said City; and
WHEREAS, on the 4th day of April, 1962, at a called
Meeting of the City Council of said City, the results of said
election were canvassed by the Mayor in the presence of the
City Council, and the said canvass showed that such results
were as follows:
FOR COUNCILMEN
Troy Eubank, Jr. 186 votes
Leeroy Nix 150 votes
Dr. Roy F. Braswell 187 votes
Don M. Kelly 180 votes
H. M. Huffman 222 votes

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the canvass of the results
of said election be and is hereby approved and that Bobby R.
Fuller, H. M. Huffman and Dr. Roy F. Braswell, having received
the highest number of votes for the office of Councilman, are
hereby declared elected to said offices of Councilmen for a term
of two (2) years, or until their successors are duly elected and
qualified.
THAT such officers are hereby instructed to take Oath of
office as by law provided, and to file such oaths with the City
Secretary.
ADOPTED this day of April, 1962.
