WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of April, 1963, pursuant to the provisions
of the Election Code of the St a of Texas, the provisions of the Euless City
Charter and Resolution No. 58 , heretofore adopted on the 12 day of
February, 1963, after due notice as by law provided, the General Election to
elect a Mayor and two (2) Councilmen for the City of Euless, Texas, for a
period of two (2) years, or until their successors have been duly qualified,
was held within the limits of the said City; and
WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of April, 1963, at a Special Meeting of
the City Council of said City, the results of said election were canvassed
by the Mayor in the presence of the City Council, and the said canvass showed
that such results were as follows:
FOR MAYOR:
Wm. G. Fuller
FOR COUNCILMEN:

Frank Douglas / 39 Votes
Troy Eubank, Jr. A s'e# Votes

(Total Votes Cast: 6434)
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the canvass of the results of
said election be and are hereby approved and that Wm. G. Fuller is hereby
declared elected to the office of Mayor for a term of two (2) years, or until
his successor is duly elected and qualified; and that ,31<< -y /3 RS

highest number of votes for the office of Councilman, are hereby declared
elected to said offices of Councilmen for a term of two (2) years, or until
their successors are duly elected and qualified.
THAT such officers are hereby instructed to take the Oath of
office as by law provided, and to file such oaths with the City Secretary.
ADOPTED this day of April, 1963.
