WHEREAS, The City of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas, os a
rapidly growing city located in the metropolitan complex between the
cities of Dallas and Fort Worth; and
WHEREAS, a substantial portion of the population growth experienced
by the City of Euless has occured since the last preceding Federal Census
of 1960; and
WHEREAS the Euless City Council, on August 1, 1961, by Oficial
set determined that the population of the City of Euless was well in excess
of the population figure required for the adoption of a Home Rule Charter;
and
WHEREAS, on July 21, 1962 a How Rule Charter was adopted by
vote of the citizens of Euless, Texas; and
WHEREAS, the City of Euless has continued to experience rapid
population growth and
WHEREAS, the utility companies providing service to the citizens
of -Buloss, Toms, Nave furnished statistical data, facts and information to
the 3ule" City Council Pertaining to the actual population of the City of
Euless; and

cal data, .facts and information indicating the actual peepalstion of the

data, reports and information furnished to it, the City Council of Mnless,
Texas, has dsteraaned, and does by the$* presents find that the population
