Euless City Council
July 24, 1957
Mayor Millican called a special session
of the City Council for July 24, 1957, at 6:45 p.m., to consider further
the selection of a Chief of Police.
After considerable discussion, no Council
action was taken.
Councilman Cadenhead withdrew his motion
made in a special meeting on July 23, 1957, that was "Move that the City
of Euless employ Mr. Barnes as Chief of Police at a salary of $350.00
per month, effective August 1, 1957, such arrangement to run for sixty
days, after which a salary adjustment would be made as deemed fair to all"
The meeting was adjourned by Mayor
Millican at 7:00 p.m.
