A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF A PORTION OF BYERS DRIVE,
CANNON DRIVE, HIMES DRIVE, SOUTH MAIN STREET,
NORTH MAIN STREET, RADER DRIVE, SIMMONS DRIVE
AND WRIGHT - RICHARDSON ROAD; DIRECTING ADVERTISE-
MENT FOR COMPETATIVE BIDS; DIRECTING PREPARATION
OF AN ESTIMATE OF COST OF SUCH IMPROVEMENTS;
AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS:
Section 1: The Plans and Specifications for the improvement of the
fdlowing enumerated streets as prepared by the City
Engineer pursuant to the directive and resolution No. 76 dated November
24+, 1964, having been submitted to and considered by the City Council
and approved and adopted for the following streets:
a) Byers Drive between Duckett and Fuller;
b) Cannon Drive between Hollywood and a point 220 feet
north of Hollywood Drive on Cannon Drive;
c) Himes Drive between a point 240 feet north of Fuller
Street to a point 130 feet south of Lee Drive;
d) North Main Street from State Highway 183 to Dallas -
Harwood Road;'
e) South Main Street from State Highway 183 to Pipeline Road;
f) Rader Drive from State Highway 183 to Pipeline Road;
g) Simmons Drive to State Highway 183 to a point 470 feet
south of State Highway 183 on Simmons Drive;
h) Wright - Richardson Road from State Highway 183 to Pipeline
Road.
Section 2: The City Engineer shall advertise in the manner provided by
law for competative bids on the construction of such improve-
ments.
Section 3: Following the opening of such bids, the City Engineer shall
prepare and submit to the City Council an estimate of the
cost of such improvements.
Section 4: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon
adoption.
ADOPTED the 8th day of December , 19 64 , at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless by a vote of 3 Ayes
and 0 Nays.
