HomeMy WebLinkAbout64-78 12-22-1964RESOLUTION NO. 78 A RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING CERTAIN PROPOSED CHANGES IN THE ZONING ORDINANCE (NO. 33); AND DIRECTING THAT NOTICES BE ISSUED IN THE MANNER REQUIRED BY LAW, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS: THAT a public hearing be held by this Council on the date, at the time and place, in the manner and concerning the matters specified in the "Notice of Public Hearing ", attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution; and THAT notice of such hearing shall be given as required by Articles 101ia to 1011j, both inclusive, of Vernon's Civil Statutes of the State of Texas. ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 22_ d_ day of December , i964� by a vote of 4 ayes and 0 nays at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas, City Secretary MAY R Item V- Council Minutes December 22, 1964 yJ NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING A Public Hearing will be held by the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas, in the Council Chambers of the Euless City Hall, Euless, Texas, on the 12th day of January , 19 65 , at 8 :00 o'clock p.m. at which time parties in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard concerning proposed amendments, supplements, changes, modifications, and /or repeals to the Zoning Ordinance No. 33 of the City of Euless, as specified on Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and made a part of this notice. Fuller MAYOR 1. 1 EXHIBIT "A" THAT the zoning classification of the following described property, now zoned "C" Commercial "A" Residential be changed to FIBLD NOTES of approximately 23.4 acres of land out of the M McCoy Survey, Tarrant County, Texas and being described by metes and bounds ascfollows: BEGINNING at the intersection of the West R.O.W. line of Raider Drive, (Co. Rd #3094) with the Northerly R.O.W. line of State Hwy. #183, said point begin the Southeast corner of a 74.637 acre tract as conveyed to George W. Pirtle and A. B. Carter; THENCE South 67 degrees 23 minutes West along the Northerly R.O.W. line of said State Hwy. #183, 1049.5 feet to the most Southerly Southwest corner of said 74.673 acre tract; THENCE North 4 degrees 0 minutes East 666.0 feet to an inner corner of said tract; THENCE North 89 degrees 56 minutes West 591.4 feet to a point; THENCE North approximately 400.0 feet to the Southwest corner of a 15.0 acre tract of land conveyed by George W. Pirtle and Mrs. A. B. Carter to the Hurst- Euless- Bedford Ind. School District in November, 1964. THENCE South 89 degrees 25 minutes east along the South line of said 15.0 acre tract 1475.0 feet to the West R.O.W. line of Raider Drive THENCE South 0 degrees 30 minutes West along the West R.O.W. line 66 said Raider Drive 650.4 feet to the place of beginning and containing approximately 23.4 acres of land. The above description for the purpose of zoning change from residential to commercial of which the Southern 300 feet is presently zoned commercial.
