WHEREAS, AT A REGULAR MEETING OF THE EULESS CITY COUNCIL ON
OCTOBER 12, 1965, HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS AT WHICH TIME A QUORUM
WAS PRESENT, AND
WHEREAS, DURING SAID MEETING A PROPOSED AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF EULESS AND TEXAS POWER & LIGHT COMPANY PROVIDING FOR CERTAIN RATES
FOR ELECTRIC POWER TO BE USED BY THE CITY OF EULESS FOR WATER AND SEWAGE
PUMPING FOR A TERN OF FIEVE YEARS GEFINNING SEPTEMBER 12, 1965, WAS PRESENTED

SCHEDULE MW -1
APPLICATION
Applioable to municipalities only for water and sewage pumping and for lighting incidental
thereto.
NET MONTHLY RATE
$26.50, whioh includes the use of 2,500 kwh
1.061 per kwh for the next 97,500 kwh
.861 per kwh for all in exoess of 100,000 kwh
Minimum $1.00 per HP connected, exolusive of duplioate or emergenoy equipment,
but not less than $26.50
Plus 0.033 mill per kwh of energy taken for each full one - fourth cent by which the average oost
per million British thermal units of all fuel delivered at the points of firing at Company's
thermal power plants during the three months' period ending one month previous to the month under
consideration was above twenty oents.
Plus one. -half of one per Dent of the amount oomputed at the above stated rate for each whole point
by which the "All Commodities" index exoeeds 105. For this purpose there shall be employed the
average of the twelve moat recently published monthly values for the "All Commodities" index taken
from "Wholesale Prices" compiled by the United States Department of Labor on a 1957 -1959 base, or
adjusted thereto. A new determination of suoh twelve -month average shall be made at the beginning
of each oalendar quarter, and the figure so found shall apply for billing for the whole of suoh
quarter. Failure at any time and from time to time to apply this provision in the event of varia+
tion in such "All Commodities" index shall not oonstitute waiver of rights to apply subsequently
such provision above said index of 105.
Plus the proportionate part of any new tax, or increased rate of tax, or governmental imposition
or charge (except state, county, city, and special distriot ad valorem taxes and any taxes on net
inoome) levied or assessed against the Company or upon its electric business, or imposed upon the
Company under its fuel purchase oontraots, as the result of any new or amended laws or ordinances
after January 1, 1963.
OPTION
This schedule is optional on a yearly basis with Company's Schedule MW -2.
PAYMENT
Bills are due when rendered, and become past due if not paid within ten days thereafter. Service
to oustomers having past due bills may be discontinued as provided in Company's Service Regulations.
CONTRACT PERIOD
As provided for in the agreement for servioe.
NOTICE
This established schedule is subjeot to any ohang• authorized by law, and to the provisions of
Company's Servioe Regulations.

APPLICATION
