WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth has been designated the
All American City for 1965, by Look Magazine by the National Munici-
pal Cities Association, and
WHEREAS, such award has turned the eyes of the nation toward
Fort Worth and Tarrant County, and
WHEREAS, such award takes cognizance of Fort Worth's recent
progressive efforts in municipal planning and cooperation with its
neighboring cities and communities, and
WHEREAS, the City of Euless desires to commend the City of
Fort Worth on its designation as the All American City for 1965, and
WHEREAS, the City of Euless further desires to commend the
City of Fort Worth for its substantial efforts in achieving municipal
cooperation and area planning to meet the common problems facing all
the cities in Tarrant County,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE EULESS CITY COUNCIL
that the City of Fort Worth be commended for its efforts and that
congratulations be extended to the City of Fort Worth upon its desig-
nation as the All American City for 1965, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be
forwarded to the Fort Worth City Council so as to i6fficially congratu-
late the City of Fort Worth on its recent recognition and substantial
efforts in municipal cooperation.
