WHEREAS, the State Highway Commission by Minute Order No 49450
dated April 19, 1961 designated Highway No. 121 & Spur Highway 350
from Interstate 820, easterly, and has authorized construction on all or a portion
thereof; and
WHEREAS, it is proposed for this designation and construction to extend
from State Highway 121 to State Highway 183
along new location
(City Street or road names, if available)
within the City of Euless, Texas ; and
WHEREAS, designation and construction of the highway as described above is
considered to be a worthy and desirable improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS
that this designation and construction is desired and the City recognizes and
agrees to assume the responsibility for the adjustment or will cause to be ad-
justed all publicly or privately owned utilities found necessary to be adjusted
or relocated that are not the responsibility of the State and /or the right of-
way purchasing agency; that the State Highway Department be and is hereby autho-
rized to proceed with the construction and subsequent maintenance of the above
highway within the corporate limits of said City; and that the Mayor or proper
city official of the City be and is hereby authorized to execute for and in be-
half of the City a standard maintenance agreement with the State Highway Depart-
ment to establish the respective maintenance responsibilities of each Party.
