RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE
CITY OF EULESS TO EXECUTE A DEED TO THE
STATE OF TEXAS OF 4.135 ACRES, A PART OF
BLOCK 1, TUCKER ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
EULESS, A PART OF THE J. P. HALFORD SURVEY,
TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the State of Texas has agreed with the City of Euless
to purchase a portion of municipally owned property being 4.135 acres,
a part of Block One (1), Tucker Addition to the City of Euless, and
WHEREAS, the City of Euless has agreed to convey such tract
to the State of Texas for a consideration of $40,500.00, and
WHEREAS, such 4.135 acre tract of land is more particularly
described by metes and bounds in Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and
by reference incorporated in this Resolution for all purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE EULESS CITY COUNCIL
that its Mayor, the Honorable W. G. Fuller, be, and he is hereby authorized
to execute a deed conveying to the State of Texas the tract of land described
in Exhibit "A" attached hereto for a consideration of $40,500.00.
PRESENTED AND PASSED on this llth day of January
1966, by a vote of 4 ayes and 0 nays at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Euless, Texas.
