Euless City Council
August 19, 1957
Mayor Millican called his Council in a
special meeting for 6:30 p.m., August 19, 1957.
Present and presiding was Mayor Millican
w i t h a l l Councilmen in attendnance; Messrs. G. L. Anders, J. S. Anderson,
S. H. Cadenhead, Paul Horton, and W. 0. Murray.
Meeting with the Council for various
purposes were Attorney Boundurant, and Messrs. Bob Brady, John Ball, and
Tiny Vickery.
There existed some lack of a thorough
understanding between the City of Euless and the developers of Midway Park,
proposed addition to the City of Euless as to how, when, and just what
portion of the land should be brought into the City first. After a lengthy
round -table discussion, the situation was clarified to the satisfaction of
all.
Mr. Tiny Vickery was heard in his request
for a franchise from the City of Euless to the Brown Airline Limousine
Company to operate a taxicab service in the City.
No motions were made and no official action
was taken on any matters.
The meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
