WHEREAS, the City of Euless by written contract dated March 10, 1964,
retained the engineering firm of Reeves, Gregory R Knowlton, a partnership,
of Fort Worth, Texas, to represent the City in the formation, adoption and
accomplishment of a five year capital improvement program, and
WHEREAS, there have been, since the execution of such contract, changes
in the constituency of the partnership performing consulting engineering services
for the City of Euless under such original contract, and
WHEREAS, the City of Euless has fully paid for all engineering services
performed by the consulting engineers to date under the terms of its engineer-
ing contract, and
WHEREAS, such original contract with its engineers reserves to the City
the right to terminate its agreement at any time upon thirty days written notice,
and
WHEREAS, the engineering firm of KNOWLTON - RATLIFF - ENGLISH has advised the
City that pursuant to certain contractual arrangements with various members of
the original engineering partnership that the firm of KNOWLTON-RATLIFF- ENGLISH
will undertake to perform consulting engineering services on behalf of the City
of Euless under such original contract dated March 10, 1964 and will further per-
form those specific consulting engineering services requested from time to time
by the Euless City Council, and
WHEREAS, the City of Euless has been advised by the parties to the origi-
nal consulting engineering contract that KNOWLTON - RATLIFF- ENGLISH will perform
consulting engineering services for the City of Euless,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE EULESS CITY COUNCIL, that the
engineering firm of KNOWLTON - RATLIFF- ENGLISH is designated as the consulting
engineers for the City of Euless subject to the provisions contained In the
original engineering contract dated March 10, 1964, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the engineering firm of KNOWLTON-RATLIFF-
ENGLISH shall continue to be the consulting engineers for the City of Euless
until such time as this appointment may be terminated by the City of Euless
pursuant to paragraph 5D of the consulting engineers contract dated March 10,
1964.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 25th_ day of April, 1967, by the Euless City Council,
by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 ,nays.
