WHEREAS, the Euless City Council takes note of the announced intention
of Dallas and Fort Worth to proceed with the development of
the proposed regional airport, and
WHEREAS, the City of Euless recognizes that every effort must be made
to continue with the development and completion of a regional
facility to meet the immediate and long range airport needs
of the Greater North Texas Area, and
WHEREAS, the City of Euless desires to express publicly its intention
to cooperate with all governmental entities in the development
of the proposed regional airport,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, on this 13th day of June, 1967, that
the cities of Dallas and Fort Worth be commended for and encouraged
in their efforts to proceed in a joint effort to develop the proposed
regional airport, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted
to the cities of Dallas, Fort Worth, and other interested governmental
entities so as to inform all concerned that the City of Euless will
consider favorably participation in this vital project.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 13th day of June, 1967, by the Euless City
Council, by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nays.
