WHEREAS, THE CITY OF EULESS HAS BEEN REQUESTED TO
PARTICIPATE WITH THE CITIES OF HALTOM CITY, TEXAS, RICHLAND HILLS,
TEXAS, NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, COLLEYVILLE, TEXAS, BEDFORD,
TEXAS, AND HURST, TEXAS, IN JOINT- SUPPORT OF THE NORTHEAST TARRANT
COUNTY FIREMEN'S TRAINING CENTER; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS
THAT
SECTION I. The Northeast Tarrant County Firemen's
Training Center shall be operated pursuant to the following rules
and regulations:
a. The said Training Center shall be under the actual
control of the Board of Directors of the Northeast Tarrant County
Firemen's Association.
The Board of Directors shall be composed of seven (7)
members. The Fire Department of each member city (Haltom City, Texas,
Richland Hills, Texas, North Richland Hills, Texas, Colleyville, Texas,
Bedford, Texas, Euless, Texas, and Hurst, Texas) shall appoint one
director from each city. The directors shall serve for such period
of time as each individual Fire Department shall designate. Each
director Shall be entitled to one (1) vote.
B. The association is authorized to elect the following
officers:
Chairman of the Board of Directors
Vice - Chairman of the Board of Directors
Secretary
Treasurer
c. The said Board is given full discretion in connection
with establishment and execution of the policies of the Northeast
Tarrant County Firemen's Training Center, except it shall be directly
responsible to the Northeast Cities Advisory Council.
SECTION 1I. By passage of this resolution, the City of
Euless hereby agrees that it will budget and pay over to the Board
of Directors of the Northeast Tarrant County Firemen's Association
the sum of Seven Hundred ($700.00) Dollars per year for a period
of five (5) years commencing in the year 1967; said sum to be used
exclusively for the erection and operation of the Northeast Tarrant
County Firemen's Training Center.
