A RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING AND PROVIDING
FOR PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO
THE TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS;
SETTING A HEARING DATE AND PROVIDING FOR METHOD OF
PUBLICATION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS:
There shall be held a public hearing before this Council
at 8:00 o'clock p.m. on the Nth day of January , 1968, at
which hearing all interested parties shall be given an opportunity
to be heard on the proposed annexation of the territory particularly
described by metes and bounds in Exhibits "A ", "B ", "C" and "D"
attached hereto and made a part hereof, being situated in Tarrant
County, Texas, and lying adjacent to the City of Euless, Texas.
That notice of such public hearing shall be published at
least one time in the Mid- Cities Daily News, the official newspaper
of the City of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas, such notice to be
published not more than twenty (20) days nor less than ten (10) days
prior to such hearing.
Such proposed annexation shall be accomplished in accordance
with the provisions of Article 970(a), Acts of 1963, 58th Legislature,
Revised Civil Statutes of the State of Texas.
IV.
This resolution shall become effective immediately following
its adoption.
ADOPTED this the 9th day of January , 1968, at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas, by
a vote of 4 ayes and 0 nays.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing will be held by the Euless City Council in the
Council Chambers of the Municipal Building at 201 Ector Street in the
City of Euless, Texas, on the 30th day of January, 1968, at 8:00 o'clock
p.m., at which time parties in interest and citizens shall have an
opportunity to be heard concerning proposed annexation by the City of
Euless, the area to be annexed being more fully described in Exhibits
"A ", "B ", "C" and "D" which are attached to this Notice and by reference
is incorporated herein and made a part of this Notice for all purposes.
This Notice of Hearing shall be published not less than ten nor
more than twenty days prior to such hearing in a newspaper having a
general circulation in the City and in the territory proposed to be
annexed.
NOTICE issued this 9th day of January, 1968, by order of the
Euless City Council.

EXHIBIT "A"
ORDINANCE NO. 314
Being a part of the S. Tucker Survey, Abstract No. 1512, the E. Taylor
Survey, Abstract No. 1550 and the R. D. Price Survey, Abstract No. 1206,
Tarrant County, Texas, and being more particularly described by metes
and bounds as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the West line of County Road No. 3121 and
the South line of County Road No. 3036, said point being the Northeast corner
of the area described in City of Euless Ordinance No. 293;
Thence, Easterly with the said South line of County Road No. 3036 a distance
of 2100 feet, more or less, to Big Bear Creek and to the Northwest corner
of the area described in the City of Euless Ordinance No. 65;
Thence, in a Southeasterly direction with the meanderings of Big Bear
Creek and with the West line of said Ordinance No. 65 to the point
where Big Bear Creek intersects the East line of the S. Tucker Survey;
Thence, Southerly with the said East line of the S. Tucker Survey a distance
of 2850 feet, more or less, to the Northeast corner of City of Euless
Ordinance No. 64;
Thence, Westerly with the North line of said Euless Ordinance No. 64 a distance
of 2600 feet, more or less, to the West line of County Road No. 3121;
Thence, Northerly with the said West line of County Road No. 3121 a distance
of 4800 feet, more or less, to the place of beginning.

ORDINANCE NO. 315
Being a part of the R. Crowley Survey Abstract No 312 and the B. F. Crowley
Survey, Abstract No. 320, Tarrant County, Texas, and being more particularly
described by metes and bounds as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the South line of the area described by
the City of Euless Ordinance No. 64 and the West line of the R. Crowley Survey;
Thence Easterly with the said South line of Ordinance No. 64, a distance
of 2100 feet, more or less, to a point for corner, same being a corner
in Ordinance 64;
Thence Southerly, with Ordinance 64, a distance of 800 feet, more or less,
to the center of Little Bear Creek for a corner, same being a corner in
Ordinance 64;
Thence in a Southeasterly direction, with Ordinance 64, along the meandering
of Little Bear Creek to a point where said creek intersects the East line
of the R. Crowley Survey for a corner;
Thence Southerly with the said East line of the R. Crowley Survey -a distance
of 1300 feet, more or less, to its intersection with the North line of
City of Euless Ordinance No. 48;
Thence, Westerly with the said North line of Ordinance No. 48 a distance
of 2700 feet, more or less, to the West line of County Road No. 3121;
Thence Northerly with the West line of said County Road No 3121 a distance
of 2700 feet, more or less, to a point for corner;
Thence Easterly a distance of 25 feet, more or less, to the place of
beginning.

Being a part of the R. Crowley Survey, Abstract No. 312 and the B. F. Crowley
Survey, Abstract No. 320, Tarrant County, Texas, and being more particularly
described by metes and bounds as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the North line of County Road No. 3011
and the West line of County Road No. 3121, same point being in a North line
of an area described in the City of Euless Ordinance No. 48;
Thence Northerly, a distance of 300 feet, more or less, to the South line
of an area described in said Ordinance No. 48;
Thence, Easterly with the said South line of Ordinance No. 48 a distance of
2639 feet, more or less, to the West line of County Road No. 3011;
Thence Southerly along the West line of County Road No. 3011 a distance of
300 feet, more or less, to its intersection with the same road;
Thence Westerly along the North line of said County Road No. 3011, same
being a North line of Ordinance No. 48, a distance of 2639 feet, more or

W. Simpson Survey, Abstract No. 1459, the P. Bacus Survey, Abstract No 133,
the J. Brandenburg Survey, Abstract No. 132, the P. Everard Survey,
the G. Borgoon Survey, Abstract No. 125 and the W. Winn Survey, Abstract No. 1662,
Tarrant County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the South line of County Road 3036 and the
East boundary line of Tarrant County;
Thence, Southerly with the said East boundary line of Tarrant County, a
distance of 15,400 feet, more or less, to the North line of State Highway
No. 183 as it existed prior to the construction of the tunnel and the
North -South Runway of Carter Field;
Thence Westerly with the said North line of State Highway No. 183, same line
also being a North line of Euless Ordinance No. 57, a distance of 9650 feet,
more or less, to a point in the West line of County Road No. 3011, same point
also being in the East line of an area described in Euless Ordinance No. 188;
Thence, Northerly with the said West line of County Road No. 3011 and the East
line of Ordinance No. 188, a distance of 1900 feet, more or less, to a
point;
Thence, Easterly with the South line of Ordinance No. 49 a distance of
2053 feet, more or less, for a corner of that Ordinance;
Thence, Southerly a distance of 1000 feet, more or less, to a point in a
line 1000 feet North of and parallel to the said North line of State
Highway No. 183, as it existed prior to the construction of said tunnel;
Thence Easterly, with the said line 1000 feet North of and parallel to
the said North line of State Highway No. 183 as it existed prior to the
construction of said tunnel, a distance of 6600 feet, more or less, to a
point in a line 1000 feet West of and parallel to the said East boundary
line of Tarrant County, Texas;
Thence Northerly, with the said line 1000 feet West of and parallel to the
East boundary line of Tarrant County, a distance of 13,350 feet to a point
1000 feet South of County Road 3036;

area described by Euless Ordinance No. 66;
Thence Northerly along an East line of said Ordinance No. 66, 815 feet to a
point in the South line of County Road No. 3036;
Thence Easterly, Southerly and Easterly along the South and West lines of
County Road No. 3036 to its intersection with the East boundary of
Tarrant County and being the point of beginning.
