WHEREAS, Director of Public Safety, W. M. Sustaire, and Officers of
the Euless Police Department recently, through careful,
extensive investigation and applied police techniques,
eliminated bookmaking activities attempting to establish
a stronghold in the City of Euless, and
WHEREAS, this feat demonstrated qualities of training and the
ability to work as a team;
WHEREAS, their concentrated efforts and dedication to duty exemplify
vigilance in providing protection to the citizens of
Euless, and
WHEREAS, the Euless City Council, being cognizant of the outstanding
efforts of W. M. Sustaire and Officers of the Euless Police
Department, deem it just, right and proper to express
public recognition.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS:
That Director of Public Safety, W. M. Sustaire, and Officers
of the Euless Police Department are hereby commended for
their dedicated loyalty and outstanding accomplishments.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this twenty -third day of December, 1969, by a
vote of 5 ayes and 0
nays at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Euless, Texas.
