A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EULESS, TEXAS, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 95-
921, TO REVISE THE QUORUM REQUIREMENT FOR THE
HISTORICAL PRESERVATION COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 92-793, established the Historical Preservation
Committee to provide the City Council with pertinent advice and information needed in
historical matters in the City of Euless, and established the composition of the
committee's membership; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 95-921, revised the membership to remove the limit on
the number of members to serve on the committee; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is in the best interest of the
City of Euless to amend the quorum requirements of the committee to ensure that
business is conducted in a timely and efficient manner.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1.
The City Council of the City of Euless, Texas hereby amends the quorum
requirement of the Historical Preservation Committee as follows:
E. A quorum shall consist of eleven (11) members as appointed by the
Euless City Council.
Affirmative action by a majority of the quorum present at a committee
meeting is required to conduct the regular affairs of the committee.
SECTION 2.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and
approval.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on
August 11, 2015, by a vote of 7 ayes, o nays, and o abstentions.
