June 25, 2015
A budget work session of the Euless City Council was called to order at 5:40 p.m.
by Mayor Linda Martin on Thursday, June 25, 2015, in the precouncil meeting room
of the Euless City Hall, 201 North Ector Drive.
Those attending included:

City Manager Loretta Getchell welcomed everyone to the worksession and advised
of items that will be discussed at the July 30, 2015 and August 1, 2015,
worksession as well provided updates related to the library foundation tile project,
Walk of Champions induction ceremony, and Oncor tree trimming.
City Manager Getchell outlined the purpose of the budget worksession including
review of the proposed capital improvement projects and to receive input from the
City Council. She outlined the organization of the book including funded and
unfunded projects and the ranking indicators.
Assistant City Manager Chris Barker presented and reviewed the preliminary
Capital Improvements Program (CIP) for fiscal year 2015-2016, and reviewed the
proposed and completed projects, including funded drainage, street, water,
wastewater, and other projects including the Texas Star Sports Complex— Phase
IV, Entry Monument Sign Program, Redevelopment, Euless Development
Corporation (EDC) Incentive Fund, Planning Consultant, EDC Contingency,
ADA/TAS Facility Improvements, Development and Engineering building redesign,
golf course improvements, Miscellaneous Park Improvements, Park Irrigation
projects, and Glade Parks trail connection design.

Assistant City Manager Barker reviewed the unfunded projects including the
priority rankings for each.
City Manager Getchell reminded the City Council of the upcoming budget
worksessions to be held on Thursday, July 31 and Saturday, August 1, 2015.
There being no further discussion, Mayor Martin adjourned the meeting at 9:12
p.m.
