SEAS, the cities of Hurst and Euless have been actively pursuing
strategies that would encourage more intensive development along the SH 10
corridor;
WuMhS, currently the corridor is subject to multiple zoning district
regulations within each city creating a hodge-podge of land uses and
development characteristics;
SEAS, standards between the zoning districts of Hurst and Euless differ
significantly and tend to produce a self-defeating competition between the two
(2) cities;
WMMS, development strategies have been identified in a January 1990
report entitled "Highway 10 Development Strategy Effort";
WHERM, several of the specific strategies identify the need for enhanced
landscaping, unified development standards between the two (2) cities,
encourage more intensive land uses and greater buffer standards;
