WHEREAS, the City of Euless, through its agent the Trinity River
Authority, requested the Tarrant County Water Control and Improvement District
No. 1 to approve the sale of Cedar Creek water to the City, and
WHEREAS, the General Manager of the Tarrant County Water Control and
Improvement District No. 1 did cooperate and assist in the conclusion of
negotiations for such water sale, and
WHEREAS, the District Board of Directors did agree to make such water
available to the City of Euless through contractural arrangement with the
Trinity River Authority, and
WHEREAS, unborn generations of Euless citizens will have occasion to
benefit from the foresight and cooperative spirit displayed by the District
Board and General Manager,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EULESS, TEXAS:
THAT, the City Council of the City of Euless express its appreciation
to the District Board and General Manager for their assistance in the solution
to Euless' long range water supply.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 13th day of July , 1971, by a vote
of 3 ayes and 0 nays at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Euless, Texas.
