A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROJECT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
HIKE AND BIKE TRAILS IN CONNECTION WITH THE EULESS WATERCOLOR
DEVELOPMENT AND PROVIDING FOR THE UNDERTAKING AND
EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS THEREFOR; AND RESOLVING OTHER MATTERS
INCIDENT AND RELATED THERETO.
WHEREAS, the Secretary of the Euless Development Corporation (the "Corporation")
caused to be published in the Fort Worth Star -Telegram on February 13, 2023, a notice of public
hearing to be held by the Board of Directors of the Corporation (the "Board") on February 27,
2023, on the undertaking and expenditure of funds for a project for the construction of hike and
bike trails in connection with the Euless Watercolor Planned Development (the "Project"); and
WHEREAS, the Board has reviewed a proposed 380 Agreement for Development of
Watercolor Planned Development which describes the details of the hike and bike trail project
and has determined that the Project will promote the goals and objectives of the Corporation; and
WHEREAS, the Corporation desires to incentivize the developer of the Watercolor
development to construct this infrastructure improvement project to encourage the promotion and
development of new and expanded business enterprises; and
WHEREAS, the public hearing was held and conducted on the date and at the time and
place stated in said notice, and after describing the Project and its estimated cost of $250,000, all
persons present at such public hearing were given the opportunity to make a statement regarding
the Project and the expenditure of Corporation funds therefor; and
WHEREAS, following such public hearing on the Project and considering any issues
raised about the Project, the Board hereby finds and determines that the Project should be
undertaken and Corporation funds expended for the Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
EULESS DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, THAT:
SECTION 1.
The Project is hereby determined to be an authorized project pursuant to Section 505.152
of the Texas Local Government Code and as authorized by the voters in an election on January
16, 1993, and such Project is hereby approved.
SECTION 2.
The acts of the Secretary of the Euless Development Corporation in causing notice of the
public hearing and the Project to be published in the Fort Worth Star -Telegram on February 13,
2023, are hereby approved, ratified, and confirmed in all respects.
