WHEREAS, the City of Euless requested the Trinity River Authority to
serve as tts agent in the purchase of water from the Tarrant County Water
Control and Improvement District No. 1, and
WHEREAS, the staff of the Trinity River Authority pursued the Author-
ity's commitment to the City through many months of precarious negotiations
with other parties involved, and
WHEREAS, the Authority was successful in obtaining a contract for
water service with the District which will provide unborn generations of
Euless citizens with an adequate supply of water,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EULESS, TEXAS:
THAT, the City Council of the City of Euless express its appreciation
to the Trinity River Authority, to its General Manager, Mr. David Brune, and
to its Projects Development Manager, Mr. James Strewn, for their assistance
in this endeavor.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 13th day of July , 1971, by a vote
of 3 ayes and 0 nays at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Euless, Texas.
