HomeMy WebLinkAbout71-288 10-26-1971RESOLUTION NO.288 A RESOLUTION CALLING A PU$LiC HEARING CONCERNING CERTAIN PROPOSED CHANGES IN THE ZONING ORDINANCE (NO. 347); AND DIRECTING THAT NOTICES BE ISSUED IN THE MANNER REQUIRED BY LAW, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS: THAT a public hearing be held by this Council.on the date, at the time and place, in the manner and concerning the matters specified in the "Notice of Public Hearing ", attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution; and THAT notice of such hearing shell be given as required by Articles 1011a to 10111, both inclusive, of Vernon's Civil Statutes of the State of Texas, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 26th day of October • 1971 o by a vote of 4 ayes and 0 nays at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless, Texan. ATTEST: /'1 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING A Public Hearing will be held by the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas, in the Council Chambers of the Euless City Hall, Euless, Texas, on the 23rd day of November at , 19 71 8 :00 o'clock P. M. at which time parties in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard concerning proposed amendments, supplements, changes, modifications and /or repeals to the Zoning Ordinance No. 347 of the City of Euless, as specified on Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and made a part of this notice. Said property being all of Tract 4A, Block 3, Wilshire Village, Section 7 and a portion of a 30.04 acre tract in the T. Jasper Survey, Abstract 861, all of which is described as follows: BEGINNING at the Northeast corner of Tract 4A, Block 3, Wilshire Village Addition, Euless, Tarrant County, Texas as recorded in Volume 388 -43, Page '20 Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas; THENCE North 88 degrees 4-0 minutes West along the North line of said Tract 4 -A, a distance of 138.09 feet to its Northwest corner; THENCE North 0 degrees 26 minutes 10 Seconds East, a distance of 13.9 feet to the South R. 0. W., a distance of 1052.8 feet to a steel rod; THENCE South 0 degrees 03 minutes 35 seconds East, a distance of 1250.1 feet to a point; THENCE South 89 degrees 45 minutes 45 seconds East, a distance of 1042.85 feet to a point; said point being adjacent to Block 3, Wilshire Village Addition, Euless, Tarrant County, Texas and in the East line of said 40 acre tract; THENCE North 0 degrees 26 minutes 10 seconds East, a distance of 540.4 feet to the Southwest corner said Tract 4 -A; . THENCE South 89 degrees 45 minutes 45 seconds East, a distance of 151.46 feet to the Southeast corner of said Tract 4 -A; said point being in the West line of Wilshire Drive; THENCE North 0 degrees 40 minutes West, a distance of 691.74 feet to the place of beginning and containing 31.9449 acres of land, more or less.
