Assistant City Manager Wes Rhodes introduced the members of the panel.
TOPICS OF DISCUSSION
Staff responded to questions from the audience related to the following:
- Chase Bank parking
- New pickleball courts
- Water bill usage tracking and online payments
- Litter along the eastbound 183 frontage road
- Paving of Sandalwood Lane
- Sidewalks near Arbor Creek Elementary School, along Denton Drive and Tarrant
Road, and Westpark Way Circle
- Various street improvements
- Blessing Branch Park Trail
- Speed limit along Dickey Drive and Huitt Drive
- Fire Station No. 1 on Ash Lane
- Redevelopment and improvements to The Parks at Texas Star
- Mass notification system (CODERED)
Deputy City Manager Chris Barker presented information related to the City's Capital
Improvement Program which includes street maintenance and reconstruction projects,
water and wastewater projects. Additionally, he presented a development update which
included the opening of new businesses in Glade Parks and commercial and residential
development throughout the City.
The Mayor and City Council expressed their appreciation to those in attendance.
